Stagecoach support Bluelight disco's with Free Travel
Starting this month (December), in time for the next Bluelight Disco, Stagecoach will be providing free transport to any young person traveling to and from any Bluelight Disco in Fife upon production of a Bluelight ticket.
A standard ticket for use throughout Fife will be sold to those attending the Disco's, which generally sell out within hours of going on sale, to save any confusion for drivers.
Constable Fraser Laird, Fife Constabulary's Safer Travel Co-ordinator said of this initiative "I think this is a very generous offer from Stagecoach which ensures the ability of kids going to Bluelight Disco's to travel in safety to and from events. This initiative is just one of the many that the Police and Stagecoach have worked successfully together on.
Doug Fleming, Managing Director, Stagecoach East Scotland said: "We are extremely pleased to be involved in such a worthwhile initiative and hope that many youngsters take advantage of the free travel to and from the events. This partnership further demonstrates our commitment to working closely with Fife Constabulary's Transport Liaison Officer, Constable Fraser Laird, to offer safe public transport to the local community."
Dunfermline Disco
NEXT DISCO
The next Dunfermline disco will take place on Friday 23rd January 2009 at 7pm in the refectory of Carnegie College.
Come along and take part in the Wii challenge and win some cool prizes. More info soon.
Please note, entry to the disco is by ticket only, you can NOT pay at the door. Tickets are limited so please make sure you get your ticket as soon as possible. More information on where tickets can be purchased will be posted here soon so please check back here later.

Please note that we DO NOT operate discos for young people in any other venue in Dunfermline. I would also like to take this opportunity to remind you that we breath test and search everyone prior to granting entry to the disco
Lochgelly Disco
The Lochgelly disco will be held on 5th Dec.
Tickets available from usual outlets.
The Lochgelly Bluelight is now becoming well established still enjoys the support of young people from throughout the local area including Cowdenbeath, Kelty, Benarty, Cardenden and Crossgates and Hill of Beath.
