Stagecoach support Bluelight disco's with Free Travel
Starting this month (December), in time for the next Bluelight Disco, Stagecoach will be providing free transport to any young person traveling to and from any Bluelight Disco in Fife upon production of a Bluelight ticket.

A standard ticket for use throughout Fife will be sold to those attending the Disco's, which generally sell out within hours of going on sale, to save any confusion for drivers.

Constable Fraser Laird, Fife Constabulary's Safer Travel Co-ordinator said of this initiative "I think this is a very generous offer from Stagecoach which ensures the ability of kids going to Bluelight Disco's to travel in safety to and from events. This initiative is just one of the many that the Police and Stagecoach have worked successfully together on.

Doug Fleming, Managing Director, Stagecoach East Scotland said: "We are extremely pleased to be involved in such a worthwhile initiative and hope that many youngsters take advantage of the free travel to and from the events. This partnership further demonstrates our commitment to working closely with Fife Constabulary's Transport Liaison Officer, Constable Fraser Laird, to offer safe public transport to the local community."

LEVENMOUTH
Latest News
To be announced

Bluelight Safezone is the country's first mobile Bluelight event and it takes place in Levenmouth every two weeks. The project is a partnership initiative involving Fife Constabulary, Fife Council (Community Learning and Development), Fife Council (Local Office Network) and NHS Fife (Kirkcaldy and Levenmouth Community Health Partnership).
Consisting of regular DJ, Dave Burnett, who provides the latest sound and lighting system, delivered under two mobile futuristic inflatable buildings, the event is certainly eye catching. The Levenmouth Community are becoming familiar with the two striking blue and white tents appearing every fortnight, as if out of nowhere and completely transforming the area into an exciting dance venue for young people. Bluelight Safezone events are entirely free of charge and have been teaming up with the NHS who lay on "The Hub" - a health advice service for young people.
Bluelight Safezone, in keeping with the times has it's own Bebo page - see www.bebo.com/bluelights4 for more information, photo's and video.
Remember - Bluelight Safezone is alcohol free and all entering the dance tents are breathalysed.
